Anti-Inflammatory Golden Milk
Ingredients
- 1 C. full fat coconut milk. I like the Thai Kitchen “2 Simple Ingredients”, because there is no guar gum. Guar gum is an emulsifier that can be disruptive to your gut health.
- 1 Tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1 Tsp Black pepper
- Several shakes of cinnamon (to taste). I like a lot.
- 1 Heaping Tbsp manuka honey
- Optional: Add 1 tbsp collagen powder
Instructions
- Add milk and spices to a small saucepan.
- Simmer on medium high heat, and stir with a fork or a whisk until the milk and spices are fully blended.
- This only takes a few minutes.
- Pour into a mug, and add manuka honey.
- Stir well.
- Enjoy!
